§ 02 — Description

BMS 1S 3.7V 3A protection board for Li-Ion batteries - charge/discharge controller for lithium batteries (battery packs) with continuous charge current up to 2A and full-charge voltage of 4.2V. The BMS 1S 3.7V controller protects Li-Ion batteries against four risks: Overcharge protection; Deep discharge protection; Short circuit protection; Overcurrent protection. Using the BMS 1S board controller will make the operation of your Li-Ion batteries safer and allow them to last much longer. BMS (Battery Management System) is an electronic board installed on unprotected batteries (or battery packs) to control charging/discharging and monitor the battery's condition: temperature control, number of charge/discharge cycles, and protection of the individual cells of the battery. The BMS protection board provides individual voltage and resistance monitoring of each battery, correctly distributes charge current between each cell in the battery pack during charging, controls charge current, detects capacity loss of each battery, and ensures safe connection and disconnection of the load. BMS boards differ in size, parameters, and the number of batteries they can connect. The working principle is simple: the board monitors the voltage on each battery, and if any cell exceeds the trigger threshold, the BMS disconnects that battery from charging or from the load, thus preserving its properties. BMS boards may also come with balancing. When choosing a BMS protection board, also pay attention to the current it can withstand. Wiring diagram of the BMS 1S 3.7V, 3A protection board:
