Servo drive (servo motor) TowerPro MG996R Digi Hi Torque, metal gear, 180° rotation angle, analog-digital

A high-tech, reliable digital general-purpose servo with increased torque, built around a reinforced all-metal gearbox. This power actuator of standard form factor is designed for precise positioning of the output shaft within a range of 0 to 180 degrees. The module is widely used in the construction of manipulators, humanoid robots, automatic lock and damper opening systems, wheeled steering mechanisms of large robotic platforms, and for controlling ailerons, elevator and rudder on heavy aircraft models and UAVs. FEATURES Component type: power actuator (standard-size servo). Gearbox design: fully metal gears (Metal Gear). Shaft rotation angle: 180 degrees (strictly limited by mechanical stops). Operating voltage: 4.8 V to 7.2 V DC (DC 4.8V-7.2V). Torque (shaft force): 9.4 kg/cm at 4.8V and up to 11.0-13.0 kg/cm at 6.0V. Rotation speed: 0.17 s / 60 degrees at 4.8V and 0.14 s / 60 degrees at 6.0V. Bearing type: double ball bearing on the output shaft. Connection interface: standard 3-wire flexible cable (orange: signal, red: power "+", brown: ground "-") with JR-type DuPont connector. Package contents: MG996R servo, 4 different plastic horns (cross, star, straight double-arm, round), 4 rubber damping grommets, 4 brass bushings, set of fixing screws and self-tapping screws.
