§ 02 — Description

Compact current meter module based on the specialized Allegro ACS712 chip, using the Hall effect for accurate and safe measurement of electrical network parameters. Galvanic isolation: The power current track is electrically isolated from the low-power measuring circuit (up to 2.1 kV), protecting the microcontroller from high voltages in the power circuit. Bidirectional measurement (AC/DC): Reliably registers direct current in both directions and alternating current (with the option of software calculation of the RMS value). Convenient mounting: Equipped with a screw terminal block for easy connection in break of the power circuit and a 3-pin connector for connecting to the analog input (ADC) of the microcontroller. Features Sensor chip: ACS712TELC-30A (Hall effect) Measurement range: from -30 A to +30 A (AC and DC current) Sensitivity: 66 mV/A (66 mV/A) Supply voltage (VCC): 5.0 V DC Output signal: Analog voltage (at 0 A the output equals VCC / 2 = ~2.5 V) Power conductor resistance: ~1.2 mΩ (minimal heat generation and power loss) Galvanic isolation: Up to 2.1 kV (RMS) between the power circuit and the measuring logic Bandwidth: 80 kHz Board dimensions: ~31 × 13 mm
