§ 02 — Description

HC-SR505 is a compact version of the popular PIR motion sensor. The module responds to changes in infrared radiation within its field of view (movement of a person or animal) and outputs a logic high for a set hold time, then returns to its initial state. Unlike the HC-SR501, this model has no trimmer potentiometers: sensitivity and hold time are preset on the board, so the sensor is ready to work as soon as power is applied. Thanks to its small size, it is easy to hide inside switch boxes, light fixtures and small devices.
