§ 02 — Description

An optical infrared module for detecting black/white lines and objects at short range. Operating principle: an IR diode emits light, and a phototransistor detects the reflected signal. Light surfaces reflect IR beams (output LOW), while dark surfaces absorb them (output HIGH). Sensitivity adjustment: a trimming potentiometer lets you precisely set the trigger threshold for different surfaces and lighting levels. Simple integration: the digital signal is output directly to any GPIO pin of a microcontroller. Features Sensor type: optical infrared (IR diode + TCRT5000 phototransistor) Comparator: LM393 Output type: digital (DO, TTL) Operating voltage: 3.3 V – 5 V DC Detection distance: 2 – 30 mm (adjustable) Indication: power LED (Power) + trigger LED (Out) Adjustment: sensitivity trimming potentiometer Connector: 3-pin (VCC, GND, OUT)
