KY-038 Sound Sensor Microphone Module for Arduino

The KY-038 sound sensor is designed to detect sound waves and measure noise levels in the surrounding environment. The device is equipped with a sensitive electret microphone and a signal processing circuit based on a comparator. The module supports two types of outputs: analog (AO) for continuous tracking of signal amplitude and digital (DO), which switches when a predefined loudness threshold is exceeded. Using the built-in trimmer resistor, the sensitivity of the sensor can be precisely adjusted to suit specific operating conditions.
